Heide Leigh Lualhati

This Character has undergone a lot of rough change... the faded back image reflects the character as she began play.

A member of a large Filipino family dwelling in Vancouver, Heide is estranged from most of them. Orphaned young, she began play as an art graduate working in a stained glass factory. She has since reconstructed a diabolic window from the remnants of broken glass - it has been hinted this window once belonged to Misery's father.

The recreation was commissioned by one Darius, a character who will appear in the comic a loooong time from now.

Heide's arms are scarred up and down from the blood she was forced to feed the glass during it's assembly. Her soul was eaten by it too, but has since regrown...

For she has discovered that she is a healer, deaughter of a long line of healers, and has healed her own soul first. She is guided by the sprits of her ancestresses, and battles Rosalie, her Grandmother's sister who simply won't stay dead...

The younger second cousin of Heide Leigh, the child of a single mother, Bayani was a typical 16 year old - into Eskrima, the Filipino martial art, part of a garage band called Silvering.

Then Dr. Fisher asked him to befriend a young boy who needed someone to talk to, someone his age he could trust... Enter the Angel of Misery. The first time they met, at a self-defence class Fisher dragged Misery to, Misery went into withdrawl and threw up on Bayani's shirt. It's been rough, but Bay stuck it out - until Misery suddenly disappeared.

Then Bay met his father, a Persian magician named Darius - then found out the man had arranged Misery's kidnapping, harnessed his power, and trapped him in an old circus cage, the plaything of demons.

Bayani managed to free Misery, and has gone to ground with him. He still hasn't figured out what to do about his father, though...
